多载波相位编码新体制雷达研究与实现

摘要: 针对传统相位编码雷达存在的多普勒敏感性,提出了一种基于正交多载波调制技术的相位编码新体制雷达。在该雷达体制中,调制码字对多路子载波信号同时进行调制,决定了发射信号的频谱结构。目标径向运动引起的多普勒频移表现为码元在频域的移位,从而保证了调制码字结构的完整性。目标回波信号解调得到的码字与参考码字进行相关处理得到目标速度信息,有效避免了多普勒敏感问题。文章讨论了该雷达体制的系统原理、波形综合和信号处理方法,提出了频域信号处理流程,分析了信号参数设计与系统性能。系统仿真和雷达外场试验表明了正交多载波相位编码新体制雷达的可行性。

Abstract: To address the Doppler sensitivity of traditional phase\|coded radar systems, a new Doppler tolerant radar system based on the orthogonal multi\|carrier modulation (MCM) technique is proposed in this paper. The modulating code modulates subcarriers simultaneously and the spectral structure of the transmitting signals is determined directly. Doppler shift of return signals from moving targets results in linear shift of the code chips in frequency domain and the structure of the modulating code is maintained. No pulse compression loss is introduced as the recovered code correlates with the reference code directly. System principles and waveform synthesis are discussed, and signal processing scheme in frequency domain is proposed. System performance and parameters are evaluated. Simulation results are presented and outdoor experiment shows the feasibility of this new radar system.
