Abstract: Taking solar direction vector as reference, a new polarized\|light navigation method is proposed. By means of the physical meaning of solar direction vector, the 180° directional ambiguity in navigation using polarized\|light directly is overcame. The attitude determination method aided by polarized\|light and gravity is proposed. The observation equation of this method is developed. And the simplified linear form of observation equation is presented when the attitude error is small. The Polarized\|light/GPS/SINS integrated navigation algorithm is designed. Theoretical analysis and simulation results demonstrate that by introducing the polarized\|light and gravity observation equation, the integrated navigation system can observe the carrier platform attitude error directly. And then the attitude estimation performance of the navigation system is enhanced. And the navigation task with large initial attitude error can be completed.
