Research on In Orbit Detection of SEU of FPGA

The SEU detector in Chinese remote sensing satellite is used to detect the Single Event Upset of 4M gate FPGA and 0.6M FPGA. The basic components of SEU detector and the method to detect SEU are firstly introduced, and the design of using analog signal to represent the number of SEU is also given. During the in orbit testing phase, the SEU detector successfully detected the SEU of the two FPGAs. The statistic data of the number and type of SEU for the two FPGAs are given respectively. The spatial distribution of SEU is gotten according to the orbital elements. The difference of SEU of the two FPGAs is also analyzed.
