Reliability Evaluation of the Linear Shaped Charge with the Hardened Test Method

Taking into account that the property parameters of the Linear Shaped Charge are difficult to achieve real time measurement, the key parameters which affect the implementation of property, such as the thickness of sheet metal, will be used to analyze the reliability. A distribution model of the largest critical functional parameters is firstly given by use of  up and down method and the largest envelop method, and then  hardened test method which can evaluate the reliability of the Linear Shaped Charge is obtained by hardening the functional parameters. The example in the article indicates that: only less than 10 trials are needed to assess the reliability of 0.99999 in the single confidence level of 0.95. It provides a technical approach for the reliability evaluation of the Linear Shaped Charge.
