An Acquisition Method for Navigation Signal with Complex Carrier Modulation Based on Coherent Superposition

In this paper, aiming at the multi-carrier structure characteristics of NSCC (Navigation Signal based on Compound Carrier), an acquisition framework and the related processing method are proposed, by sufficiently considering three aspects, namely the detector performance, the computational complexity and the hardware resource occupancy. Besides, the PMF-FFT algorithm is adopt to the framework to process the sub-carrier respectively or uniformly, then the sub-carriers frequency interval information is utilized to process the signal by use of cyclic shift and coherent superposition to make full use of the signal power for detection. Both theory analysis and simulation result illustrate that this framework has desirable detection performance within the restricted hardware resources and computational ability in comparison with the traditional acquisition framework.
