Abstract:

For the spacecraft attitude control problem in the presence of uncertain inertial matrix and other unknown uncertainties such as actuator faults and change of spacecraft structures, a fully comprehensive review of the prescribed performance control (PPC) methodology is investigated in this paper. In this review, the basic explanation of PPC is given along with an introduction for its three key steps. Then, the current development of the attitude control methods and PPC method is analyzed and discussed. Finally, faced with the requirements raised by the future complicated and intelligent space missions, some open issues and research suggestions on PPC in aerospace applications are presented.
