Abstract: According to the motion camouflage theory, the terminal guidance law and corresponding pulse width pulse frequency (PWPF) modulator are designed for kinetic energy interceptor guidance problem. A dynamic model is established based on the relative motion relationship between interceptor and target in the line of sight rotation coordinate system. The guidance instruction expression acting on the normal direction of LOS is derived by the interception condition derived from the motion camouflage characteristic. Considering the constraint of kinetic energy interceptors guidance thrust, guidance command is adjusted with the PWPF modulator. The theoretical design of the modulator parameters is carried out based on the controllable conditions and interception conditions of the system. The motion camouflage terminal guidance law ensures that the kinetic energy interceptor not only plays a camouflage role in the terminal guidance process, but also has high guidance precision and small hit overload. And the PWPF modulator whose parameters are designed can save fuel. The numerical simulations have demonstrated the effectiveness of the terminal guidance law proposed.
