Some Advances in Technologies of Aerospace Flexible Deployable Structure and Their Applications

Abstract: Some advances in the technologies of aerospace flexible deployable structure and their applications are reviewed. The current research progress on some key theories and technologies, including the membrane wrinkling, buckling instability of inflated structures, deployment mechanics, surface precision, and rigidizable materials, are then reviewed. Furthermore, the key problems and future research focuses of aerospace flexible deployable structure are commented. The future development trend of technologies of aerospace flexible deployable structure is predicted in the end.
