Abstract: Aiming at the problem of deployment stability of the single pulse deployed space net, the research is carried out from the perspective of the mass distribution on the net. Firstly, a better mass distribution model is established based on the transfer matrix method, lumped mass method and inverse proportion function. Then, the optimal mass distribution of the net is obtained by a genetic algorithm, and the empirical formula of the mass distribution is obtained by a large number of numerical simulation and regression analysis. The proposed mass distribution model effectively reduces the number of optimization variables in the net surface mass distribution and improves the efficiency of solving the optimal solution. The deployment stability of the optimized net corresponding to the optimal solution is greatly improved, which is basically consistent with the result of the empirical formula. Results show that the application of the mass distribution model and the empirical formula can effectively improve the deployment stability of the single pulse deployed space net.
