Abstract:

In order to detect the spoofing signal in the tracking phase of a satellite navigation system under middle or low dynamic environment, a novel spoofing detection method based on the spectrum analysis of the carrier phase tracking is proposed. The spectral characteristics of the phase discriminator output signal are closely related to the spoofing signal in the tracking loop. A model to detect spoofing signal is produced by using spectrum analysis of the phase discriminator output signal. The simulation results show that, when jamming-signal-ratio is more than 4dB, by setting an appropriate threshold and adopting FFT with more than 256 points, 100% detection probability is achieved by using this method, while the false alarm probability does not exceed 0.5%. A good detection effect on the spoofing signal in the tracking phase can be obtained by this method.
