Abstract:

According to the hypersonic impulse tunnel test environment with strong vibration interference and extreme short effective test time, a kind of single component stress wave force balance sensed by piezoelectric ceramics and with reflect stress wave dissipation ability is put forward. The basic principles, structure design formulas, inner suspended shield structure, and calibration methods are introduced in detail. The axial force of a hemisphere model is tested with the balance in Φ0.6m shock tunnel in CARDC. The feasibility of the technique is verified from the test results.
