Analysis on Influence of the Bank Angle of Hypersonic Glide Vehicle

Abstract: Aiming at a hypersonic glide vehicle, the methods of theoretical derivation and numerical simulation are used to analyze the influence of the bank angle on flight speed, flight altitude and process constraints in the classical control law. Under the condition of equilibrium glide, the analytical formula between the flight speed, flight altitude, process constraints and bank angle is derived. The simulation results show that the analytical solution has superior accuracy, and the analytical solution can be used to characterize the change law of flight speed, flight altitude and process constraints. With the same initial speed, the greater the bank angle is, the faster the decline of the flight speed, flight altitude and heating rate is, and the greater the dynamic press and load factor are. Under the condition of skip glide, with the same initial speed, the greater the bank angle, the faster the decline of the flight speed, and the smaller the fluctuation of the flight altitude and the process constraints.
