Reentry Trajectory Planning with Flight Time Constraints

Abstract: In order to satisfy the requirements of a hypersonic cooperative flight mission under complex constraints, a designed trajectory planning method with time constraints is introduced. Firstly, a reentry gliding motion model is established, and a method of reentry gliding trajectory segmentation is proposed. Secondly, for every flight segment, different guidance laws are designed and the analytical solutions of the remaining flight time and range in glide phase are derived. The analytical relationship between the remaining flight time and final velocity is established. By the analytical prediction-correction method, the timing and amplitude of the bank angle are designed in the time and energy adjustment period to satisfy the end energy and time constraints. At last, the algorithm is proved effective and robust by theoretical analysis and simulation.
