Research Progress and Prospects of Flight Vehicle Simulators for HWIL Simulation

Abstract: According to the different guidance systems, the research progress on HWIL simulation equipment is introduced from the aspects of optical guidance simulation, RF guidance simulation, and IR/RF composite guidance simulation. Then, in combination with the new development requirements of HWIL simulation, the special simulators such as full-angle guidance simulators, special environment or background guidance simulators, companion-flying and fly-around motion simulators, and missile pneumatic servo elasticity simulators are proposed. Finally, combining the development trend of flight vehicle and HWIL simulation, the development trend of flight vehicle HWIL equipment is forecasted.
